Yay! A very old friend of mine is in town scoping out the greater D/FW region for a potential relocation. Not only is he a brother in Christ, he is probably the most curious and therefore brightest person I have ever met. And he absolutely shreds in the world of jazz fusion.

He is also an amazing luthier/woodworker. Some of his instruments have been featured in museums of modern art. He made the neck for my strat almost 20 years ago and it is as incredible today as was when he first bolted the dude on way back when.
We are going around town tomorrow in preparation for a Mexican Food feast tomorrow night. Mmmm, Ojeda's... I don't think I have it in me to burn that many calories.
